There has been some discussion of reaching out to CSX about cleanup in the past, but nothing recent.

I'd love to see this change, too, though it will be an uphill battle. I'll add it to our May membership meeting agenda. Please join us (May 14th at 7 p.m.) and lend your thoughts and ideas to the conversation.Rob Robinsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00160801739145865683noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30351636.post-27216265139689941582007-05-04T10:52:00.000-05:002007-05-04T10:52:00.000-05:00A bit off-topic - Sylvan Park too has a home tour ...A bit off-topic - Sylvan Park too has a home tour and other events to attract people to our neighborhood. There are three main entrance to our neighborhood; Sloan, 46th and Murphy Road.

My comment comes from how these people are greeted when entering our fine neighborhood. 46th has a nice mosaic sign. Sloan has the rock "book ends" by the lodge. Murphy Road has the less-than-beautiful, ever visible railroad bridge.

Can the SPNA talk with Summers, CSX, anyone who could get this eyesore prettied-up? It would be a great opportunity to welcome neighbors back home and visitors to our neighborhood.

FWIW-
JosephAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
