The Sylvan Park Neighborhood Association (SPNA) is the collective community voice for addressing neighborhood issues such as zoning, security, beautification, traffic, metropolitan services, and environment.

SPNA members meet on the second Monday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Senior Renaissance Center of Cohn Adult Learning Center at 4805 Park Avenue.

Pandemic public forum at Vanderbilt

Vanderbilt's Student Life Center is hosting a free public forum tomorrow (Monday, October 23) entitled Confronting a Pandemic Threat: Risks, Rights, and Responsibilities from 4 to 6 p.m. .

Those of you who heard the Metro Public Health presentation regarding a hypothetical flu pandemic may be interested in attending this event to learn more. The forum will be held in Ballroom A at the center, which is located at 310 25th Avenue South. For more information, please call (615) 343-5447.
