Dean, Venick address SPNA

Mayoral candidate Karl Dean spoke for about 15 minutes at last night's SPNA membership meeting. He discussed his reasons for running, including the fondness for the city of Nashville that he developed while attending Vanderbilt Law School. Dean listed his top three priorities for the city: public education, public safety and economic development.

Metro Council District 24 candidate Irwin Venick also addressed the membership for about five minutes and shared his reasons for running and his experience as a community leader. Photos from the meeting will be posted soon.
