Coyote sighting
Neighbor Becky Buxhamper recently spotted a coyote in the alley between 48th Avenue and Dakota Avenue at 11:30 p.m. Please be aware that coyotes are not generally a threat to humans, but it is wise to keep smaller pets indoors during evening hours. Polly Rooker with the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency visited SPNA last November and shared other helpful tips about dealing with animals in urban settings.
