The Sylvan Park Neighborhood Association (SPNA) is the collective community voice for addressing neighborhood issues such as zoning and development, traffic calming, safety, and neighborhood beautification.

SPNA meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Cohn School (Senior Renaissance Center). Email spna@sylvanpark.org for details.

Recent MNPD drug arrests

The Metro Nashville Police Department has made additional arrests for drug activity near the neighborhood:
West Precinct detectives charged 22 persons as the result of investigations on 18th and 12th Avenues North at Jefferson Street, Herman Street, Ireland Street, Hillside Avenue, the 800 block of Idlewood Drive, and 37th Avenue North at Charlotte Pike. Seized were 85.2 grams of cocaine, 34.7 pounds of marijuana, five Lortab pills, and $769 cash.
