The Sylvan Park Neighborhood Association (SPNA) is the collective community voice for addressing neighborhood issues such as zoning and development, traffic calming, safety, and neighborhood beautification.

SPNA meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Cohn School (Senior Renaissance Center). Email spna@sylvanpark.org for details.

NCSL Health and Wellness Day Sept. 27

The Nashville Center For Spiritual Living (6705 Charlotte Pike) will host a Health and Wellness Day on Saturday, September 27, 2008, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Bottled water, and snacks will be available. The event and all lectures are free and open to the public.

This event will offer events, lectures, and healing modalities of various kinds. Presenters and practitioners are all professionals. The lectures, which begin at 10:30 a.m. and go to 3:30 p.m., include subjects that affect your life and daily health. This promises to be a fun-filled day of awareness.
