The Sylvan Park Neighborhood Association (SPNA) is the collective community voice for addressing neighborhood issues such as zoning, security, beautification, traffic, metropolitan services, and environment.

SPNA members meet on the second Monday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Senior Renaissance Center of Cohn Adult Learning Center at 4805 Park Avenue.

Neighborhoods Resource Center training Oct. 28

The Neighborhoods Resource Center will host a free community training session on Tuesday, Oct. 28, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Coleman Community Center (384 Thompson Lane). Please join us for this free training opportunity for neighborhood residents. Participants will learn the basics on how to use technology to work with their neighbors and neighborhood groups. Participants will learn the basics of how to set-up a free listserv, blog and/or website. We will discuss technology "dos and don'ts" and look at effective examples.
