The Sylvan Park Neighborhood Association (SPNA) is the collective community voice for addressing neighborhood issues such as zoning and development, traffic calming, safety, and neighborhood beautification.

SPNA meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Cohn School (Senior Renaissance Center). Email spna@sylvanpark.org for details.

Armed robbery reported on Nevada

A neighbor has reported that a resident on the 4900 block of Nevada Avenue was robbed at gunpoint on Christmas Eve. His truck was stolen around 6 p.m. The Metro Nashville Police Department was alerted about this crime. The culprits have been alleged to be three African-American men, but no further details have been revealed.

Always report criminal or suspicious activity to the police using (615) 862-8600 for non-emergency incidents or 911 in emergency situations.
