The Sylvan Park Neighborhood Association (SPNA) is the collective community voice for addressing neighborhood issues such as zoning and development, traffic calming, safety, and neighborhood beautification.

SPNA meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Cohn School (Senior Renaissance Center). Email spna@sylvanpark.org for details.

MNPD drug arrests at 37th Avenue and Park in Sylvan Heights

The Metro Nashville Police Department has reported the following drug-related arrests during the past week in or near Sylvan Heights:
West Precinct detectives charged 33 persons as the result of investigations on 30th and 23rd Avenues North, Buena Vista Pike, 37th Avenue North at Park Avenue, and 12th Avenue South. Seized were 31 pounds of marijuana, eleven grams of cocaine, 19 Hydrocodone pills, ten morphine pills, three weapons, one vehicle, and $2,295 cash.
