The Sylvan Park Neighborhood Association (SPNA) is the collective community voice for addressing neighborhood issues such as zoning and development, traffic calming, safety, and neighborhood beautification.

SPNA meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Cohn School (Senior Renaissance Center). Email spna@sylvanpark.org for details.

Blakemore UMC plant sale April 17

Blakemore United Methodist Church is partnering with Youngs Nursery is Gallatin to offer a plant sale. Details are listed below. Advance orders must be received by March 29, and the church will host a public sale on Saturday, April 17. All proceeds will benefit the church's mission team that is traveling to Nicaragua.

Blakemore United Methodist Church is partnering with Youngs Nursery in Gallatin, TN to offer you a good selection of beautiful, healthy, plants and vegetables that are suitable for Tennessee soil and weather. While some plants will be available for purchase by the public on Saturday, April 17th, we encourage you to order in advance so you are sure to get exactly what you want for your yard.

An order form is available online at http://www.blakemoreumc.org/files/BUMC%20Plant%20Sale.pdf. All orders must be paid in advance and received by Monday, March 29. Completed form and payment can be dropped off at the church office or mailed to 3601 West End Ave. 37205. Attention: Plant Sale.

Orders will be available for pick up Saturday, April 17th at Blakemore UMC (3601 West End Avenue) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Plants for sale to the public will also be available April 17th beginning at 9 a.m. on a first come, first served basis.
