SPNA Independence Day celebration this Saturday (July 3)

SPNA cordially invites you to a Fourth of July celebration in Richland Park on Saturday, July 3, at 10 a.m. at the Richland Park Picnic Shelter.

Birthday cake and juice will be served, and as usual a gala children’s parade will be featured. Stirring, patriotic tunes will be played. Bring the kids; decorate the family tricycles and wagons with streamers, balloons and your wildest creative ideas. The parade will progress along Park Avenue and around the park.

Fellow citizens will toast the nation's birthday--the 234th. Come one and all, young and old to the birthday celebration! Volunteers are welcome at 8 a.m. to help decorate.

Parade Schedule:
  • 10:00 a.m. Neighbors gather
  • 10:15 a.m. Parade begins
  • 10:45 a.m. Remarks and awards
  • 11:00 a.m. Cake is served
