Celebrate Independence Day with SPNA
Join the Sylvan Park Neighborhood Assocation for its annual Independence Day celebration on Friday, July 4, at 9 a.m. at the Richland Park Picnic Shelter. The traditional 4th of July Children's Parade will depart from the picnic shelter shortly thereafter and will proceed around Richland Park.
Decorate bikes, trikes, wagons, strollers and/or children, grandchildren or yourselves for the parade, and bring a musical instrument or other noisemaker to help serenade your neighbors with patriotic music. Popsicles will be the grand finale for the celebration.
Volunteers are welcome at 8 a.m. to help decorate. Email spna@sylvanpark.org with questions or for more information. Many thanks to Jackie Johnson Tidwell for chairing this event.
