The Sylvan Park Neighborhood Association (SPNA) is the collective community voice for addressing neighborhood issues such as zoning and development, traffic calming, safety, and neighborhood beautification.

SPNA meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Cohn School (Senior Renaissance Center). Email spna@sylvanpark.org for details.

Nola arrives on West End

The Hispanic Nashville Notebook and the Nashville Scene have details to share about Nola, a new restaurant that features "Cajun tastes" along with some Uruguayan and other South American specialties. The restaurant has opened in the space formerly occupied by Obie's at 2914 West End Ave.

Nola is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday. For more information, call (615) 341-3693 or (615) 341-3694.
