The Sylvan Park Neighborhood Association (SPNA) is the collective community voice for addressing neighborhood issues such as zoning and development, traffic calming, safety, and neighborhood beautification.

SPNA meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Cohn School (Senior Renaissance Center). Email spna@sylvanpark.org for details.

West Precinct crime report

The West Precinct of the Metro Nashville Police Department is reporting the following incidences of criminal activity in or near Sylvan Park during the month of April:
  • An aggravated assault with a handgun near 38th and Nevada Avenue in Sylvan Heights.
  • A shed lock was broken, and tools and a vehicle were taken on the 4400 block of Nebraska Avenue.
  • Larceny (shoplifting or other petty theft) on the 4800 block of Park Avenue and the 4000 block of Nebraska Avenue.
Please report any suspicious activity you witness to the police at (615) 862-8600 or, in cases of emergencies only, by calling 911.
