The Sylvan Park Neighborhood Association (SPNA) is the collective community voice for addressing neighborhood issues such as zoning and development, traffic calming, safety, and neighborhood beautification.

MNPD looking for White Bridge Road Target robbery suspect


From the Metro Nashville Police Department:

West Precinct detectives are working to identify the man who stabbed a woman last night in the Target parking lot at 26 White Bridge Pike and stole her purse. The 46-year-old victim was talking to friends at 8 p.m. when the suspect approached her, stabbed her in the back without provocation, and fled with her purse in a late 90s or early 2000 model dark blue Ford Mustang occupied by at least one other person.

The suspect is described as a black man in his 20s or early 30s with short hair who is approximately 5’10” tall and who weighs approximately 160 pounds. The victim was transported to St. Thomas Hospital with a minor stab wound. Anyone who has information concerning this crime is urged to contact West Precinct detectives at (615) 862-7385 or Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME. Citizens can also send an electronic tip to Crime Stoppers by texting the word “CASH” along with their message to 274637 (CRIMES) or online at www.nashvillecrimestoppers.com. Persons who contact Crime Stoppers by phone or text message can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward.
