The Sylvan Park Neighborhood Association (SPNA) is the collective community voice for addressing neighborhood issues such as zoning, security, beautification, traffic, metropolitan services, and environment.

SPNA members meet on the second Monday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Senior Renaissance Center of Cohn Adult Learning Center at 4805 Park Avenue.

West Nashville community meeting Nov. 10

The next West Nashville community coalition meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 10, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at West Nashville United Methodist Church (4710 Charlotte Avenue). The event is free, and the public is invited to attend.

The meeting is the latest in a series of meetings intended to foster communication and collaboration among neighborhood organizations, residents, law enforcement and business owners regarding issues facing the local community. Metro Council Members Buddy Baker and Jason Holleman and police officials are planning to attend. Light refreshments will be served.
