The Sylvan Park Neighborhood Association (SPNA) is the collective community voice for addressing neighborhood issues such as zoning and development, traffic calming, safety, and neighborhood beautification.

SPNA meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Cohn School (Senior Renaissance Center). Email spna@sylvanpark.org for details.

West Nashville community meeting Nov. 10

The next West Nashville community coalition meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 10, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at West Nashville United Methodist Church (4710 Charlotte Avenue). The event is free, and the public is invited to attend.

The meeting is the latest in a series of meetings intended to foster communication and collaboration among neighborhood organizations, residents, law enforcement and business owners regarding issues facing the local community. Metro Council Members Buddy Baker and Jason Holleman and police officials are planning to attend. Light refreshments will be served. For more information, email Sherry Cothran at sdcothran@gmail.com.
